Morning appointments are available between 8.30am & 11.30am and afternoon appointments between 1.30pm & 5.00pm.
Due to the number of part-time GPs at this surgery it may not always possible to book an appointment with the Doctor of your choice but we will try to meet your request where possible.
Out of hours urgent care
If urgent medical help is required when the practice is closed (between 6.00pm and 8.00am and at weekends and bank holidays) please call our designated Out of Hours Service on:

For general medical advice please contact NHS direct on 0845 46 47, who are available 24 hours per day.
In case of emergency situations (e.g. chest pain) you should always call 999 and request an ambulance.
Redcar and Cleveland PCT has responsibility for the Out of Hours Service. This is commissioned by them working in partnership with Primecare.
Home Visits
It has been traditional in the past for the GP to visit patients at home on request.
Modern practice recommends that the best place for a patient to be examined, investigated and treated is in the surgery. Home visits, except in exceptional cases, are for the housebound and seriously ill patient.
The usual practice when a visit is requested will be for the GP to ring back to discuss with the patient the need for a visit.
If you require a home visit, please telephone before 10.30am.
To assess the urgency, you will be asked to give some idea of the symptoms.
Urgent home visits can be rung in at anytime.
Please do not request a home visit if you are able to get to the surgery.
